The application deadline for the Beggs-Dowling-Mathieu (BDM) Scholarship is rapidly approaching. 

Every year the National Council offers 18 annual scholarships of $1,000 each to UFCW Canada members and their children for post secondary study. In addition to helping UFCW Canada members meet the ever-growing cost of education, the BDM Scholarship was established to commemorate the contributions of three outstanding UFCW Canada activists, leaders and builders: Bill Beggs, Fred Dowling, and Romeo Mathieu.

To be eligible for the 2010 BDM Scholarship, members must submit their applications to the National Office by Thursday, September 30, 2010.

Applying for the BDM Scholarship has never been easier, and all interested and eligible UFCW Canada members are welcome and encouraged to put their names forward.
