Have you heard the news? UFCW Canada is publishing daily, multi-media coverage of the G20 meetings in Toronto.

From June 21 to June 27, UFCW Canada members, friends and supporters can tune in to GEE20.ca to get the latest on what union activists are doing to make sure workers’ voices are heard loud and clear at the People’s Summit.

GEE20.ca offers live video streaming of UFCW Canada sponsored events and other activities, in-depth conversations with community leaders and globalization experts, and a steady flow of field coverage that features blogs, photography, poetry and social media to describe what is happening on the ground and what issues matter most to UFCW Canada members.

Activists in the Toronto area are encouraged to become part of the news by joining UFCW Canada and its allies at a massive demonstration on Saturday, June 26, and by participating in as many People’s Summit events as possible.

The June 26 rally – called People First! We Deserve Better G8 & G20 Public Rally and March – starts at 1:00 p.m. and will be held on the front lawn of the Ontario legislature, Queen’s Park.
