Sign Up for New webCampus Courses this March and April!

UFCW Canada members, family members, and social justice partners are free to sign up for the newest webCampus courses launching in March 2012. All webCampus courses are free of charge, and can be taken at your own pace anywhere that you have a computer and internet connection.

 

In English, the following new course runs from March to April 2012:

Windows Live Movie Maker

March 6, 2012 - April 7, 2012

Course Description: Windows Live Movie Maker is the fast way to turn photos and videos into great-looking movies and slide shows that you can share with your family and friends on the Web or on DVDs. Movie Maker is very easy to use, so don't be afraid to dive in!  Best of all, the program is free and is already included as part of Windows 7 and Vista. The objective of this course is to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Windows Live Movie Maker in a manner that is engaging, entertaining, and educational.

 

The course below is available in French and also runs from March to April 2012:

Introduction to HACCP (Introduction au système HACCP)

 

March 6, 2012 - April 7, 2012

Course description: This course is an introduction to the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point System. Its objective is to introduce participants to the principle of HACCP and explain how a HACCP plan is set up.

Participants will acquire knowledge and practical skills in key areas such as:

Upon successfully completing this course, participants will have increased their knowledge and understanding of GMPs, HACCP prerequisites, and the components of implementing of this system.
