UFCW Canada activists geared up for NDP Leadership Convention

UFCW Canada members throughout the country are gearing up in person and online to participate in the NDP Leadership Convention starting tomorrow. Polls suggest UFCW Canada endorsed candidate Thomas Mulcair is the front runner and poised to become the next Leader of Canada’s New Democrats.

UFCW Canada was the first labour organization endorsing Mulcair and as UFCW Canada National President Wayne Hanley stated, “UFCW Canada believes Tom Mulcair is the best candidate to build upon the NDP’s historic success, and the best candidate to represent the interests of UFCW Canada members and all working families.”
