Air Creebec members achieve first contract – UFCW 175Timmins, Ont. – April 5, 2016 – UFCW Canada Local 175 members working at Air Creebec Inc. in Timmins have achieved their first collective agreement.

The new three-year agreement will provide wage increases of over 12 per cent over the term of the contract.

Air Creebec Inc. is a regional airline that operates scheduled and charter services to 16 destinations in Quebec and Ontario. The company has a hub at the Victor M. Power Airport in Timmins.

Other benefits include 12 sick days per year and up to six weeks of vacation. The agreement also increases the full-time bargaining unit by adding four new jobs.

The new members now also have the protection of a collective agreement with a grievance procedure and union representation language.
