New Health and Safety Survival Guide now available
Toronto – January 9, 2013 – A new UFCW Canada resource is now available to all UFCW Canada activists and members. Developed by the UFCW Canada National Council Workplace Rights Committee, the new Health and Safety Survival Guide is freely available in both English and French to support UFCW Canada activists in:
- Understanding their roles and responsibilities under occupational health and safety legislation
- Forming an effective committee
- Conducting effective and efficient committee meetings
- Carrying out committee activities as set out in the occupational health and safety legislation
- Responding to workplace concerns
- Contacting health and safety resources to find out information
