UFCW EPC activists proudly march at Moncton Pride

Moncton, N.B. – August 28, 2018 – UFCW Canada activists in New Brunswick recently joined thousands of families and community members in Moncton to take part in the 19th Annual Pride Parade. The parade capped off the city’s Pride Week.

The UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces Council float joined more than 75 other organizations in the parade, which marched down Main Street to Riverfront Park. The parade and week of festivities were organised by the River of Pride community organization.

The union’s participation in the Moncton Pride Parade follows UFCW’s recent support for the Halifax Pride Parade, the PEI Pride Parade and other Pride festivities across Canada.
