Call centre members at ESIT Canada achieve wage gains, better sick leave – UFCW 832

Winnipeg – July 3, 2019 – UFCW Local 832 union members working at ESIT Canada have achieved a new union contract that provides wage gains, better sick leave provisions, and more.

Under the two-year collective agreement, members’ wages increase by 3.25 percent and employees will be paid out of any unused sick time at the end of each year.

The union bargaining committee was also successful in negotiating improvements to the yearly transportation allowance and enhancing seniority language in the agreement.

ESIT Canada is an incoming call centre that offers technical support and assistance to clients. Currently, Local 832 members working at ESIT provide a range of support services to the Bank of Canada and the Government of Manitoba.
