2012 BDM Scholarship Winner: Eden Bradley, Local 1252
St. John’s, Nfld. – March 1, 2013 – Eden Bradley is one of 18 BDM Scholarships recipients for 2012. Eden is the daughter of proud UFCW Canada Local 1252 Member, and Union Steward, Robert Bradley who works at the Delta Hotel in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Eden is studying Motor Vehicle Body Repair and Paint. “This career is a very non-traditional field for a woman and I enjoy challenges,” says Eden. “This scholarship assists me with purchasing tools, which are a must-have for the successful completion of this program.”
“I want to thank the UFCW for offering the Beggs-Dowling-Mathieu Scholarship,” adds Eden.
Every year UFCW Canada offers a total of 18 annual BDM scholarships of $1,000 each to members, their spouses, and dependants for post secondary study.
