UFCW EPC joins thousands to celebrate PRIDE Halifax

Halifax – August 8, 2013 – UFCW Canada activists from across Nova Scotia, and throughout the Maritimes, recently gathered in Halifax to participate in the East Coast's largest PRIDE celebration.

Activists from the UFCW Eastern Provinces Council (EPC) joined hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators in the Nova Scotia capital to celebrate diversity, inclusion, human rights, and the call for greater equality.

UFCW Canada participation in Halifax PRIDE comes on the heels of other important PRIDE events across the country, including UFCW supported events in Toronto, Saskatoon, and Edmonton.
