2013 UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship Winner: Annick Langevin Cossette, Local 503

Quebec City – April 24, 2014 – Annick Lagevin Cossetteis one of eighteen UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship winners for 2013. Sister Cossette is currently enrolled full-time in the Biomedical Technologies Program at Collège Shawinigan in Shawinigan, Quebec. She is the daughter of Nathalie Langevin, a proud Local 503 member who works as a produce clerk at the Super C store in Trois-Rivières, Quebec.

Annick was recently presented with the $1,000 union scholarship cheque by UFCW Canada Local 503 President Louise Lefebvre and Secretary-Treasurer Alain Langlois, who are pictured here with Sister Cossette. 

Every year UFCW Canada offers a total of eighteen union scholarships worth $1,000 each to members, their spouses, and dependants for post-secondary education.
