Food service members at Compass Group secure new contract – UFCW 1288P
Moncton, N.B. – November 3, 2022 – UFCW 1288P members in New Brunswick working across several Shannex Long-Term Care locations for Compass Group recently secured a new collective agreement that increases wages, benefits and more.
The new contract comes with $600 in retroactive pay for full-time employees and $300 for part-timers hired before March 2022. Wages will increase upwards of 10 percent over the life of the three-year contract, in addition to increased sick days, bereavement leave, statutory holidays and improvements to scheduling.
