Security workers join union – UFCW 1006A

Toronto – June 13, 2025 – Workers from DiFranco Security Services in Toronto have joined the union.

The bargaining unit consists of approximately 30 members who work as security guards at condos and office buildings for concierge services and security patrols.
 
“I’m proud to congratulate our newest members from DiFranco Security Services on their strong victory,” said UFCW 1006A President Wayne Hanley. “UFCW 1006A is proud to be Ontario’s union for security guards, helping them secure rights and protections and improve their working conditions.”
