Western P.E.I. ADL workers build better life – UFCW 864

Summerside, P.E.I. – February 9, 2025 – UFCW Local 864 members in P.E.I. at ADL Foods, the ADL Butter Plant and the ADL Cheese Plant have agreed on a new three-year agreement. 

The contract will bring in more than $500,000 in combined employee retro-pay, pumping a mass amount of money into the western-P.E.I. economy. 

Highlights of the contract include wage increases, improved vacation allotments, sick day changes, job protection language and other improvements.

UFCW Local 864 is a private-sector labour union representing workers at Cavendish Farms, Atlantic Beef, UPEI, ADL, Beach Point Processing, and O’Leary Co-op.
