Social service workers build better life – UFCW 832

Winnipeg – March 27, 2026 – UFCW 832 members at New Directions in Winnipeg have voted in favour of a new three-year contract.

Highlights include wage increases, improved vacation, improve fuel mileage, lump-sum payments and more.

New Directions is a Winnipeg-based non-profit organization committed to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds with a variety of needs. The UFCW 832 members are the Community Resource Workers for the Supported Cluster Housing in Winnipeg and the Direct Support Workers for the Shift-Staffed homes in Winnipeg and RM of Springfield.
