May is a time to nurture our spirits, reflect on our personal growth, and deepen our connection with the natural world.

April brings forth a time of deep connection to the land and the earth's cycles, as well as an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous cultures and traditions. In many Indigenous communities, April is symbolized by the Sucker Moon, a time when life begins to bloom anew and the rhythms of nature guide us through a period of transformation.

Toronto – January 28, 2025 – February marks a time of reflection, renewal, and advocacy in the UFCW Canada Indigenous Calendar, which highlights significant dates meaningful to Indigenous communities across Canada. The calendar honours Indigenous ways of knowing, respecting natural cycles, cultural ceremonies, and spiritual practices that transcend the conventional Gregorian calendar.
Toronto – January 7, 2025 – UFCW Canada is proud to introduce its first-ever Indigenous Calendar, created in collaboration with the UFCW Canada Indigenous Committee and the Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G). This groundbreaking calendar marks an important step in recognizing and honouring Indigenous cultures, traditions, and histories.
