The Black Eagle Award was established to recognize exceptional individuals and organizations for making outstanding contributions for their groundbreaking social justice work on behalf of Canada's agricultural workforce.
Since 2000, the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Canada and the Agricultural Workers Alliance (AWA) have hosted the "Annual Cesar E. Chavez Black Eagle Awards Dinner."
