Toronto – September 14, 2023 – To support members and their family with the rising costs of post-secondary education UFCW Canada offers 18 scholarships valued at $1,000 each to eligible members or their dependents.
Leamington, Ont. – September 13, 2023 – UFCW Canada partnered with Vivi’r LGBTQ+ to hold a workshop for LGBTQIA+ migrant workers on Trans Justice and Trans Rights at the Agricultural Workers Centre in Leamington this August.
Innisfil, Ont. – September 12, 2023 – Workers at Canna Cabana in Innisfil, Ontario, have voted Union Yes and are the fifth location organized and represented by UFCW Locals 175 & 633.
Saskatoon, Sask. – September 7, 2023 – This morning, 85 workers have been locked out by their employer Heritage Inn Hotels in Saskatoon and Moose Jaw.
Toronto – September 6, 2023 – Uber driver Harpinder Singh Brar has been reactivated on the platform and back to earning a living after receiving assistance from UFCW Canada representation.
