Anti-Racism Resources
The global uprisings of the summer of 2020 against racial injustices and anti-Black racism have prompted urgent discussions among our family, friends, and co-workers. The focus of these important conversations has been centred around systemic racism and how non-Black people and non-People of Colour can strengthen their allyship with Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC).
One of the first steps in addressing systemic racism is understanding that allyship is the ongoing task of learning how to support BIPOCs. These anti-racism resource cards are intended be introductory resources and are most effective when read together. For example, it will be difficult to have a grasp of what anti-Black racism is without understanding what white privilege is. We have created these cards to offer resources for learning as we engage in productive conversations towards our own role in dismantling racism.
Please feel free to share these resources with your family, friends, and co-workers.
