Montreal – March 2, 2021 – UFCW 500 members working at Metro Plus Sorel-Tracy have ratified a new seven-year agreement which sees salaries increase by 2 percent each year, in addition to a 2 percent increase to their Christmas bonuses in each year of the contract.
Waterloo, Ont. – March 1, 2021 – Barber-Collins security guards working at the Waterloo City Hall in Waterloo, Ontario are the latest to join UFCW 333 after voting overwhelmingly in favour of union representation.
Toronto – February 26, 2021 – Every year, Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) Awareness Day takes place on the last day of February, the only “non repetitive” day of the annual calendar. As part of RSI Day, UFCW Canada joins workers and other labour groups worldwide to help raise awareness of the need for preventative action towards repetitive strain injuries.
