Lachute, Que. – January 12, 2015 – Over eighty workers at Les Aliments Lebel in Lachute, Quebec are the newest members of UFCW Canada Local 501 after voting to join the union late last year.

Toronto – January 9, 2015 – In the 2011 federal election, Con boss Harper won a majority government even though only 39% of those who voted, voted Conservative. A majority of Canadians, 61%, voted against Harper but Harper rules.
Ottawa – January 10, 2015 – A report released by Statistics Canada says the minimum wage in 2013 is just a penny more than in 1975, after being adjusted for inflation.
