New website for The S.A.M.E.
The Students Against Migrant Exploitation, or the S.A.M.E., have just launched www.thesame.ca.
S.A.M.E. is the growing student movement for social justice that started last year to defend human rights and fight for migrant worker justice.
“The new S.A.M.E website is all about mobilizing students and helping them to show one another that they can make a big difference when it comes to social justice,” says UFCW Canada national representative Pablo Godoy, who assists S.A.M.E. chapters at colleges and universities to start out, network and mobilize other students.
www.thesame.ca offers student activists everything they need to know about starting or joining a S.A.M.E chapter at their schools, and aims to be an online hub for the growing number of young people who are fighting for fairness in Canada’s temporary foreign workers system.
