Leamington, Ont. – August 18, 2016 – UFCW Canada Local 175 members working at AMCO Storage in Leamington, Ontario have recently ratified a new five-year collective agreement.

AMCO Storage provides both cold and dry storage warehousing facilities.

Under the new agreement, members will receive wage increases of 30 cents per hour in each year of the agreement. Improved contract language reduces the sunset clause from 24 months to 18 months. The contract also features an improved safety boot allowance of $100 per two-year period, up from the previous $60.

The union negotiating committee included Howard Collard, Servicing Representative Rolando Cabral, and Region 5 Director Angela Mattioli.
