Political and Legislative Affairs Committee

The Political and Legislative Affairs Committee is one of six standing committees that advises and reports to the UFCW Canada National Council. The committee also guides our union's political action efforts, which are fully committed to:

• Equipping UFCW Canada activists with election and lobbying training to impact their lives and communities
• Mobilizing UFCW Canada members to meet with elected representatives and advocate on issues affecting members and families outside election periods
• Building a network of politically engaged UFCW Canada members to positively influence government at all levels, leveraging UFCW density in key ridings
