Toronto – July 15, 2020 – Every summer, Canadians across the country celebrate National Hot Dog Day, July 22, by grilling up their favourite hot dogs and sausages with friends, family, and neighbours.
Hot dogs are one of the most popular meat products in Canada, as over 950 million hot dogs were sold in retail stores between May 2018 and May 2019, according to Nielsen MarketTrack.
Whether you like all-beef, pork, chicken, or smoked hot dogs, or are more of a sausage or corn dog person, National Hot Dog Day is the ideal time to savour delicious, Canadian-made hot dogs and sausages.
