BDM Scholarship helps member’s daughter fulfill her teaching dreams

Elmhave, Ont. – January 18, 2021 – The daughter of Kym Macneall, Revera Sara Vista Long Term Care Home, is the latest recipient of the Beggs-Dowling-Mathieu (BDM) Scholarship.

Abygail Macneall studies psychology and education at Nipissing University where she hopes to attain her Bachelor of Art with Honours.

“I am very grateful to be receiving this scholarship, it is much appreciated and every little bit will help in supporting my educational needs,” says Macneall. “I am thankful to UFCW for providing these scholarships for students, your generous support is very much appreciated.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their families every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
