Members at Mound Milk build a better life – UFCW 832
Brandon, Man. – November 27, 2023 – UFCW 832 members at Mound Milk in Brandon have ratified a new three-year contract which includes wage increases and other benefits.
Highlights of the new deal include a 5.5% wage increase in year one, increases to meal allowances, additional wage increases in years two and three, new benefits, and more.
“This group worked hard to get a fair deal,” says Joe Carreiro, Union Negotiator. “Wage increases were a top priority for these members but it’s nice to see some other benefits coming their way as well.”
The UFCW 832 members at Mound Milk pick up milk from producers in the southwest corner of Manitoba and deliver it to Saputo in Brandon, where it is processed.
