Ottawa-based Uber driver back on track with UFCW assistance

Ottawa – December 19, 2023 – Muhammad A. of Ottawa joins the ever-growing list of Uber drivers who have been reactivated on the Uber platform thanks to UFCW Canada’s assistance.

A high-rated driver with over 20,000 completed trips, Muhammad was deactivated from the platform.

He then reached out to UFCW Canada to help submit his case to Uber and the union was successful in getting Muhammad reactivated and back on the road.

Through UFCW Canada’s historic agreement with Uber Canada drivers can access representation services from UFCW Canada to assist with account deactivations, licensing issues, background checks, and other matters.
