School Bus Drivers ratify first agreement – UFCW 832
Lorette, Man. – August 8, 2024 – Bus Drivers and monitors working at Seine River School Division have ratified their first collective agreement as UFCW Local 832 members.
In July 2023, the 90 drivers and monitors at the Seine River School Division joined UFCW 832.
“The credit for this great first agreement goes to the hard work and dedication that our bargaining committee brought to the table,” said Jeff Traeger, President of UFCW Local 832. “They landed a good deal that they can be proud of.”
The new four-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA) includes increases to many aspects of the wage structure, including increases to the hourly pay, premiums and allowance.
