Cannabis workers in Port Coquitlam join the union – UFCW 1518
Port Coquitlam, B.C. – September 27, 2024 – Workers at Kiaro Cannabis in Port Coquitlam have said “YES!” to joining UFCW 1518, becoming the latest members of the BC Budtender Union – an expanding movement of cannabis workers in British Columbia advocating for fairness throughout the industry.
UFCW 1518 is proud of the ongoing growth of the cannabis sector and is eager to support new workers joining the industry. The union stands ready to assist in negotiating the first collective agreement for the new members.
