Long-term care workers at Vista Park Lodge ratify new contract – UFCW 832

Winnipeg – October 10, 2020 –UFCW 832 members at Vista Park Lodge ratified a new collective bargaining agreement with significant improvements to scheduling and wages.
Highlights of the agreement include wage increases, scheduling improvements, increases to weekend premiums, and more.
“This was an incredibly tough round of bargaining,” says Joe Carreiro, UFCW 832 union negotiator. “This group works very hard to support aging Manitobans and our committee fought to ensure they had parity with health care aides in other locations.”
