Despite an increasingly hostile global environment for gender equality, the Political Declaration of the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) includes key wins for trade unions and the broader movement for women’s rights. Key trade union victories in the political declaration include: decent work, care economy, social protection and union recognition.
