Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ont. – June 5, 2017 – UFCW Canada activists attended the 9th Annual Migrant Farm Worker Summer Festival and Information Fair this past weekend to support seasonal agriculture workers labouring in Ontario.
Vancouver – January 25, 2017 – The British Columbia Labour Relations Board (BCLRB) has upheld charges that the owners of a B.C. agriculture operation broke the labour laws in attempting to derail the union rights of migrant agriculture workers at Floralia Plant Growers Limited in the Lower Mainland. The workers are members of UFCW Canada Local 1518.
