Toronto – July 10, 2013 – UFCW, Unite the Union and other progressive allies made an important stand for international labour rights today by leading a mass demonstration and information picket against Ferrovial: the majority shareholder of Highway 407 ETR – Canada’s most lucrative toll road company – for blacklisting an employee who raised health and safety concerns.
Winnipeg – July 9, 2013 – Passenger service attendants (PSA) working at Bearskin Airlines in Winnipeg are the newest members of UFCW Canada after a majority said "Yes" to joining Canada's most progressive union. The new Bearskin members proudly join UFCW Canada Local 832, Manitoba’s leading voice for workers.
