Toronto – August 22, 2013 – UFCW Canada's groundbreaking education and training program, webCampus, is excited to offer a free new certification program beginning this fall. The 150-hour Human Rights Advocate Certificate program prepares students to better understand human rights laws, as well as minorities and equity-seeking groups.
Ottawa – July 18, 2013 – Conservative boss Harper figured a shuffle of his cabinet would turn the channel on the ever-evolving Senate scandal. Harper thinks UFCW Canada members and families will forget about everything else and marvel at his new younger and more female friendly cabinet.
Toronto – July 5, 2013 – The race is on for five provincial ridings in Ontario, which all promise to be more than just a test of the newly-appointed Premier, Kathleen Wynne. The outcome of the by-elections should also reveal how Ontarians feel about the government’s past history. That past includes Dalton McGuinty’s costly cancellation of two power plants, the ongoing Ornge scandal, and the government’s lacklustre dealings with public sector unions.
