Ottawa – January 14, 2022 – The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed many holes in our public health care system, and there are many on the political right who see it as an opportunity to privatize health care.
Ottawa – November 23, 2021 – Over the past decade, the federal government and most of our provinces have changed political financing laws to remove the influence of large donors and big money in our political system by lowering contribution limits and only allowing individuals to donate.
Toronto – November 10, 2021 – Recent announcements by Doug Ford show a cynical premier trying on a new political persona, as more working people are looking to the NDP in the upcoming Ontario provincial election.
Ottawa – October 26, 2021 – Now that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced the swearing in of a new cabinet on October 26 and the return to parliament on November 22, it is incumbent upon the Liberal government to look to opposition parties to make the new minority government work.
Ottawa – September 27, 2021 – A viral tweet posted at 11pm on election night by Ahmed Ali reads, “This election could have been an email.”
Ottawa – September 15, 2021 – On September 7, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted “Young people aren’t asking for a free house. They want a fair shot at buying their own. We’re going to make sure (they) can.”
