Ottawa – June 8, 2021 – The horrors of the residential school system were once again laid bare, upon the discovery of a mass burial containing the remains of 215 Indigenous children. While many Canadians are shocked by the discovery the real horror has been the lack of any action by the federal government.
Ottawa – May 13, 2021 – Justin Trudeau once again stepped on the collective bargaining rights of workers when his Liberal government recently rammed through Bill C-29; legislation that ordered CUPE members at the Port of Montreal to end their legal strike and get back to work.
Ottawa – April 27, 2021 – After two years without a budget, and with COVID-19 wreaking havoc in many parts of the country, one could have expected a budget that was transformational in addressing the issues laid bare by the pandemic.
