Ottawa – April 2, 2019 – UFCW Canada activists joined hundreds of social justice allies from across Canada for the 2019 Broadbent Institute Progress Summit, held in Ottawa from March 27 to 29.
Toronto – March 15, 2019 – March 21 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, a day to commemorate the victims of the 1960 Sharpeville massacre in South Africa, and acknowledge the struggles faced by racialized and Indigenous communities around the world.

Toronto – December 17, 2018 – Each year on December 18, citizens around the world recognize International Migrants Day to honour the millions of migrants living across the globe.
Toronto – December 8, 2018 – This December 10, Human Rights Day, marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Toronto – November 23, 2018 – Each year, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is commemorated on November 25.
