UFCW Saskatchewan Women’s Conference focuses on political action
Saskatoon, Sask. – March 11, 2015 – UFCW Canada sisters from across the province gathered for an empowering two days of workshops and information sharing at the UFCW Saskatchewan Women’s Conference.


Calgary – March 7, 2015 – UFCW Canada activists from across the country recently gathered in Calgary for the first-ever regional Organizing for Women Activists Workshop.
Toronto – March 2, 2015 – International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated annually across the world every March 8th. The origins of International Women’s Day arose from the struggles that women faced at the turn of the 20th century, including dangerous working conditions, long work hours, meager pay, and no right to vote.
