National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
Toronto – November 30, 2022 – It has been over 30 years since the murder of 14 young women at Polytechnique Montréal (December 6, 1989). This act of violent misogyny shook our country, and December 6 was designated as The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Toronto – November 22, 2022 – Gender-based violence remains a daily threat to women, two spirit, trans, non-binary and gender nonconforming people in Canada.
Ottawa – October 1, 2022 – We need high quality, accessible, and public childcare now. Send a message to your local Member of Parliament, and Canada’s federal party leaders, urging them to make universal childcare a reality for all families.
Toronto – September 3, 2022 – 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of Women’s History Month – a time to celebrate the women and girls from our past, and our present, who are contributing to a better, more inclusive Canada.
