This year has been quite an exciting time for me, and it all started when I joined the bargaining committee with my union. Through this involvement, I was presented with the opportunity to attend UFCW Canada’s Young-Workers Internship Program (YIP) and the UFCW Canada National Convention in Montreal.

Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. – August 21, 2017 – The latest and final session of the 2017 UFCW Canada Young-Workers Internship Program (YIP) recently took place in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, where 20 young UFCW Canada members from across Alberta and British Columbia gathered for a week of dynamic learning and hands-on training.
