Cornwall, Ont. – April 1, 2024 – Workers at Lallemand Inc. in Cornwall, Ontario have voted to join UFCW Locals 175 & 633.

Vancouver – March 28, 2024 – Last year, workers at Vancouver’s Earnest Ice Cream’s Quebec St. and Fraser St. locations took their workplace into their own hands by organizing under UFCW 1518.

Statement Regarding P.E.I. Sick-Day Legislation – UFCW 864

Charlottetown, P.E.I. – March 27, 2024 – The Prince Edward Island government is granting workers three paid sick-days as of October 1st, 2024. However, UFCW 864 comments that the union is disappointed that this benefit will not be extended to unionized workers.
