Toronto – September 2, 2025 – Eligible applicants have only one month left to apply for the UFCW Canada Equity Grant and UFCW Canada BDM Scholarships: the application date for both is September 30.
Ottawa – September 3, 2025 – Retail workers at a Canadian Tire store in Ottawa have said “YES” to joining the union. The approximately 75 employees at the store, which is located on Heron Road near Carleton University, are now members of Local 175 of the United Food & Commercial Workers (UFCW).
Quebec City – August 31, 2025 – UFCW Local 501 is pleased to announce the signing of a new collective agreement for the approximately 100 union members at the Preverco hardwood and engineered flooring manufacturing plant in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
